Ok chaps.

At home, my model building area has always been our Conservatory which I have enjoyed pretty much 80% use of. After a fair amount of discussion, it has been decided that we need to demolish the Conservatory so we can extend the kitchen and make the whole area more useable.

This is good because we really do need a bigger area to use all year round as the Conservatory is far too cold in the Winter.

This is bad because prof will lose his modeling space for ever.

So, to cut a very long story short, building starts fairly soon and even if I do manage to perch in the corner of the new kitchen at the table, it won't be until early next year.

I will of course drop in from time to time and hope to see some of you UK guys at shows but apart from that, expect very little from me now and although I will make an effort to try to keep modeling, I have to admit the odds are stacked heavily against me.

Keep an eye on the buy, sell, swap thread as the majority of my kits will now have to go.

Now that is a bummer . I had to give up modeling a few years ago myself because we needed the room for something else. After a couple of years I was back. Hope you too find a way to get back to the hobby and not give it up all together.

Never fear prof, the hobby will be here for you when you're able to return to it, I'm sure you'll find a suitable arrangement once all the remodeling dust settles! You can always go for a "bunker" basement type of arrangement if needed. Hope to still see you around here from time to time though!
