Several times while visiting here I have recieved a pop-up from my virus protection warning of a malicous url. Also I get re-directed often to a site offering to scan and fix my computer. Anyone experiencing anything similar?

No issues here either. Rob would be able to answer this one better, but, I think Proboards does not allow the "googlebots" on there sites. They might have overlooked on of their ads though. I am looking at an add for Cloudmark Desktopone...anti spyware and spam. I would be currious if something was embedded. But again, nothing happening on my end.

Ive not had that but now using a java blocker for the last few days and I see no adds no more unless I click it

I would sudjest running Ccleaner it's a free download and give you pc a good clean out

Have too say that i did have..............kept getting a box come up from my anti-virus saying `malicious `URL` blocked................went on for a few weeks but i ain`t seen it since i changed from Avast to AVG...........coincidence possibly ?

I think it maybe coming from the chat client, also I have seen google analytics cause this issue.

I have to say,this was happening to me a little while back,and on checking with AVG,there were no threats....Mine did always seem to kick in when I was in the CR.....
