Hi guys, its been a while and I've been meaning to post but you know how that goes sometimes. Busy summer and fall but no excuse. I picked up this kit along with another six Fujimi A-4s at an estate sale Saturday and decided to jump right in. I picked this one because a couple of parts had been clipped from the sprues already. Simple as that. These Fujimi A-4s look to be pretty nice. A little difficult in that the fuselage is divided front to back at the intakes, I'm sure to accommodate all the versions of the A-4. The fit there took some work but not too bad and rest of the kit has gone together pretty well. I did pull out quite a few tools to get all the panel lines restored. Like the 1/48 Hasegawa A-4s this kit has a step in the wings for the slats which isn't there on the real plane so I cut some 0.10" sheet to size and leveled that out. The cockpit is basic but nice with raised detail on the side consoles which look good with supplied decals after a lot of setting solution. Also a nice IP decal as well. Liking it so far.
