Looks good to me, Jay, the aluminum has a nice oxidized look to it. I learned on the last Tamiya razorback I built that if you don't glue the sliding part of the canopy you can spread the aft lower edges and pose it in the open position, or closed again whatever suits you at the time. It just snaps back in to place.

Hello Jay I am new to you to this forum and site. Was asked by Joe to join. Just saw your P47 D razor back and love it . Well done!!. Just completed one myself and other than making a careless error of putting the upper roundel on backwards, I thoroughly oved the build and the kit. Outstanding job Docsudy (Gary)

Totally missed this when you posted it up Jay ( tucohoward). What a dang finish this one is man!! WOW!! Sorry to hear about the rivets vanishing and the pitot tube incident but you shined in every other aspect of the build. GREAT to see you again bro.

Well done! I've done this kit once way back and have another in the stash. It really is an amazing kit. I like your rendition as the NMF looks fantastic and the 'livery' is striking with the black bands.

Superb NMF on this Jay! Surprising about the HGW rivets... I've used them as well so I get what your saying about being able to expose them easily for a weathered look. I would have thought metallic paint coverage would be thinner than regular paint. I'll put that to memory for the future use for sure.
