Hello Everyone I am posting my recently completed P47 D Razorback by Tamiya. Some my have seen a few of these images with my introduction but others might not have. I hope I am not being too redundant. I tried to make her a combat worn, distressed, weathered bird circa late 1943 out of England. Excuse the backwards rondel , my inexperience got to me. LOL! All the best DocSudy

From here this is looking really good, subtle weathering, not overdone, and the details stand out nicely, cockpit included. Excellent!

The weathering and painting that went into this represent the good amount of work and time that you put into this build Gary. The roundel issue I look at as growing pains. I built a Dauntless years ago that I put the wing roundels on the fuselage and the ones for the fuselage on the wings. lol . I never said anything and no one else did either. Point is, we all overlook some things along the way and that's just a human thing which we are all subject to. Great job on this aircraft and it's definitely one to be proud of brother.

Man, that Jug looks great! 👏 That is some mighty fine scale modeling, well done, sir! 👍 Yeah, don't worry about the insignia, we've all done it before...some of us more than once.

Brother, you built one bad-*ss P47 and it deserves much noticing! 👍 Enjoy Thanksgiving and get out those stretchy pants! 😁

I agree, that is a very nice looking build all around. We all make mistakes from time to time and we learn from it. It is a wonderful build, truly.

A most excellent build!! A great looking P-47. Really awesome used look you’ve achieved. And now worries on the roundel. We’ve all had that stuff happen.
