Was just wondering what was still in Germany model wise. it's been eight years since I moved back from Germany and was wondering what model shows are still being held there, and what clubs are still around. I was a member of the Frankfurt a.m. Club and we held a two day show every year. For a while it was one of the biggest and best shows in Germany, held in Offenbach. I know there is a club in Siegen as some of our club member where in that one and also helped start it. Was thinking of there is to see there or join if I go on vacation, which is long overdue. Just thinking ahead. So what does Germany have to offer know a days ??

Hiya Thomas
Thanks for all that info. Some of those shows I knew about, but guess forgot over the years. Too bad about the Frankfurt club's show, was always a great show to work and attend. I too was a member in the mid to late 90's and knew Scott and Peter well. Jens Popp and his paints, yep I know both well. In fact I still have some paints from him from the last show we went to in Meerholz. I know Peter (?) helped start the Siegen club a couple of years before I left. Good to hear about the MBC Camo guys doing their own show. It was always interesting to go by their tables and talk to them at our show. All their models looked the same...LOL. They gave classes on how to paint and weather, but then every ones model looked the same. OK thanks for all the great info Thomas. I may be going back on holiday in the next year or two.
