Thanks guys! Not everyone's cup of tea...not even mine, usually but having some fun with it!! Everything get's a nice coat of Glass Base from Alclad Being a nice day, a little outside curing was all I needed. A little Alclad Chrome applied Finally today, I tackled a little Burnt Violet and Burnt Sepia Needing a Titanium base for what I plan, this will work. Unfortunately, Titanium does not actually rust to well!! But that does not mean I can't weather it!! ;D Next up some clear and then some paint. Might let this rest for a day and work on some neglected projects. Let's see what tomorrow brings!! ;D

Frank - Thank you!! Not my cup of java either but making the best of it. I get to paint and weather having some fun along the way!! Luigi - Thanks bud! Not sure about winning and Alt/Sci-Fi conventions but sure would like to attend as they have those really nice Japanese models like at the car shows there!! Well, I could not miss the chance to mock this up before painting just to see.... Getting dismantled this morning and setting up for the booth....this may take some time!! And if someone is wondering, any of the dents and scratches are actually suppose to be there. Thanks for checking in on me!!

Well, surely there's more motivation to win, if the prize is given by those girls, am I wrong? BTW, the metallic skeleton looks quite convincing, looking forward to painting and weathering

Ian - - Thanks a bunch! Alclad does have it's place now and then!! ;D Mark - - Thank you!!! Spud - - Thanks, well at least in the painting end of it! LOL!!! Not to keen either bud, but like messing around with this one anyway. I will be painting as usual, but will utilize the "Terminator" undercoat for the chipping. Once a clear coat is down...go to town per usual! ;D Boss - - Thanks and thanks for stopping by there Bro!! Sometimes you just need to build something...LOL!!! One of these would make a great PA build!! Mence - - Thank you sir, glad to have you along for the ride!! jackwagon - - Thanks Sir!

Hi ya Frank! Thanks BTW, most appreciated!! No pics yet, but I did manage to slap some of the colored stuff on last night and begin some chipping...think it's coming out alright for the moment. There will be some washes and streaking, on the model of course, before I am done. Not too much room for rust per say as it is a Titanium suite, but where there is a will there is a way. Wasn;t thinking about the base until you mentioned LOL!!! Nothing over the top, maybe something dirty, some rocks and such. Or there is always the rubble scene too!! Will be working that out soon!!

OK just about there I think. I have a bunch of weathering still to do but the basics are done for the moment and only a couple of touch-ups here and there. Still thinking about the base and will work something out at some point. For now, on to some weathering!! Thanks for tuning in!!

Very nice indeed I think the best base for such subject should be a wrecked skyscraper. The Gundam could hide behind it, firing at an invisible target.

Hey T, how's this one coming along? Noticed nothing new in a little while, did we hit a road block? I know it's always hard to be motivated when you are building something that is not really your thing. Keep with it bro, you are nearly there and we are all keen to see the finished product! Cheers, Sam

Seems I miss a comment from Frank a while back!! Soz buddy!!! Gee, thanks for reminding me I need to finish this one Sam ...LOL!!! Stalled not necessarily buy lack of interest but was from the several items on the list at the time....reviews, Show prep and so on! Still sits pearched near the bench. Building started and part of a small base! Still some weathering to do. I will be revisiting this on and off along with the figure I have in the works not to mention a few others. Hang in there!!

T, I already liked the iron version and in color it looks even better ! Isn't it an idea to add a transparent laserbeam ?
