I have a confession to make to you all

I don't know why I do it - but I've been visiting other websites
- I know -how could I Why? Were you not good enough for me, not giving me what I was looking for?

No it wasn't you, it was me- call it curiosity or just selfishness but I have been reminded of why came here in the first place;
the complete lack of Egos;
genuine constructuve criticism- not smart -arsed comentary thinly dressed up as some form of critique ;
the genuine encouragement and general sense of fun

Waiting for the filler to dry last night I did a bit of surfing- as you may have guessed - there truely are some very self-important ferkin' numpties out there.

All I can do is promise I'll try not to wander again- but maybe if I ever need a reminder of why this is my online home...

LOL...all good Paul! I tend to hit anywhere around five different ones not to mention a bunch more doing research from time to time....ummm, everynight (another reason I can;t get my arse to the bench long enough to feakin' build something) These 'Numpties', to which you refer, are there...however they do serve a purpose in a way, they weed themselves out so we here at MSC know who they are and pretty much wont deal with it!!!!!! ;D

I visit other site as I know others do, no harm in it and I have got lots of time to surf. Ifr it's quiet here I'll pop somewhere else but I still know this one is what I call home.

Glad you are not alone. We share same addiction and we carve for more. I frequent visit three sites but I see myself leaving one site one day since it has been too quiet.

Calling MCS my home because no other sites make me chuckle too often...

I personally,look on one other site regularly,because I have friends and modellers over there,that I like/admire,as people and modellers,but don't post there too much,except when its a bit quiet here.....As an occasional modeller,and all round 'bon viveur', ....I enjoy this site,because no one has any 'Airs and Graces',(if that is the right terminology),even award winning,and published guys here,are willing to have a laugh and joke on forum,and still give good advice when asked for.

I too have buddies in other places but visiting other sites does something else, it helps me to appreciate what a fine place this is to stay...
