Cheers Luigi. With that done, it's a sprint? to the finish. Add spark plug and wire it in. Paint and fit oil filler cap. Add return springs to the side stand and brake pedal. Detail paint, decal and fit the seat. Fit the (very) fragile rack assembly. Apply decal to the silencer. Fit left hand cranckcase cover. Check wiring. And that's it, couple more pics in the gallery. Finally, huge thanks for sticking with me. Those of you who chat to me or follow my ramblings will know its not been easy for me to model lately so I'm extra pleased I can call this finished.

As a footnote, I have a 1/6 Honda Gorilla which may continue this thread at some time.

Appreciate it mate. Yes, very tricky to model at times but pretty pleased with the result all the same.

Hi chaps,
Many thanks for the kind words, I'm a bit of a 1/6 bike fan but they can be quite complex, lengthy builds. The Monkey / Gorilla / Dax are about the simplest of Tamiya's big scale two wheelers and are relatively swift to put together and great fun too
