OK Guys, Here's my first attempt at a 120mm Figure.. It's an OOP Depiction of a late war German sniper by Verlinden. All painting in Vallejo's,except the rifle stock, which is oil over acrylic. Over to you guys.... Gary

Guys, Thanks for the comments. Spud hit on one thing though, 'Why is it shiny?' I've got the thing in front of me here, and believe me, you couldn't get it any flatter if you went at it with emery cloth! So why is it only shiny in the pics? I varnished it with Vallejo matt and a touch of Tamiya flat base. Does anyone know how to get rid of the shine when taking pics? All answers gratefully accepted! All the best, Gary

hmm that is odd, if im going guess it's the Vallejo mat which isn't very mat. I use Tamiya Flat clear xf-86 and that gives a dead flat finish
