Hey guys! Was reading AFV Modeler and came across a article of a King Tiger build. In the article are some pics of a near intact tubular tail light from a Marder III! The green or blue we are so accustomed to painting it, is half right. the light it self is green but it has a black cover over it! I was blown away when I saw this! Here are some pics of the pics! yes, i read that article last week at my club night, thought it was both interesting and useful to know.
it was a minor miracle to find a period one fully intact after all these years, as they said in the article, most are either missing or destroyed. filed in the'useful info' basket for later!

yup, I noticed that as well, and thus I painted the convoy light on my NachtPanther in green. Won't use the blue from now on ;D

It's "glow-stick" green almost in terms of the color that it emits when lit. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.
