Hello fellas, Just watched the MXpressions DVD for paining 1/35th scale figs with Vallejo Acrylics. Fantastic video! I learned alot about face painting that made it look like anyone can pull it off with a little practice. Ive been approaching my figure painting in a different way and this video was so helpful in showing me the proper consistancy of the paint and how to apply it in such a way as to create very nice transisions in highlight and shadow. I definately need to be more patient in following the steps as it takes several steps to create the proper results but the finished product speaks for itself. Anyways, im rambeling again! Heres a link to the video, i highly recomend it. www.coloradominiatures.com/MX-DVD02.aspxGary

I have it, and it's nice. Yet he's way ahead and it's not always easy to do what he does

I will admit Getting impatient towards the end but i paid very close attention to the face and head section and it had an immediate impact on my figure painting. I painted the figure heads on my StuG thread useing his method for the first time and got the best 1/35th scale results ive ever had. So it was worth every drowsy minute...mostly. ;D Figure page on my thread... modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=armor&action=display&thread=1912&page=10Gary

As I said on your other thread that's amazing! Especially being the first atempt at a new technique. Outstanding!
