Hey everyone, Yup, going to run off on a tangent a little. I have too many things going on, as do most, but I found a figure laying on my desk and after trolling the Kit Maker Network for a bit tonight I noticed they were running a campaign (Group build) called "Femininity"...centered around figures, all of the female persuasion. I was thinking this would make some nice fill painting whilst I was painting a couple other things and waiting for thing to dry. So, before I show a couple thing s here....I don't know what this piece is called and who actually made it as I bought this unboxed at a show a while ago. So, if anyone out there knows the name or the maker....thanks in advance!! Other than that....here we go....Again!!! I will take a few moments tonight to check the fit of the joints and maybe even clean some things up a little. This should go together rather quickly so I can get to some painting!!! As always...thanks for stopping in!!

Thanks fellas!! I hope for it to be a bit of fun!! I found out what the name and make is on this one!! "La Belle de nuit", 80mm figure from Pegaso Models. So, I am up early this morning and rather than start the lawn mower at 6:20AM (and it's still dark) I will clean some of this up and get going!!

Looks interesting, hard to see the detail but a coat of primer will soon fix that

Hey Mr T, this looks really interesting, I've always wondered what these actually build up like . Fancied buying one but my Missus would not be impressed ;D As BigJohn says this one is one of the more family friendly ones some of these are very 'entertaining' ;D Anyway, I'm up for following this mate, should be very good!

OK, a small update while I take care of a few things around here!! I managed to get the assemblies together Starting with the base and then working through all the parts.... I applied a quick shot of Primer, actually a couple times today, as I found some nicks that needed attention. She is not attached here, just relaxing . I will move onto painting the base section as the body dries. Thanks for tuning in!!!

This fig looks pretty well sculpted from what I can see. There's a lot of flesh tone in there, but no different than anything else. Ya, this should be a good one.
Standing by for the pic Chris, always good to have another persective to view on these kids of tasks. Forcasting light from above would really make this figure lively.
Rock on T. Cheers, Ski.

Thanks Boss!! Yeah, the primer stage is one of my favs....details start to POP! BJ & CB - Thanks for stopping in!! LOL...details seem to be jumping ey? LOL...I will have to take some closer pics to show here off better. Hi Ya Steve!! Thanks and yup, the detail is pretty nice. I am not too familiar with the white metal version of figs, so it a small learning curve. I think the light perspective is the way to go on this one. This was last night....since then I think I mentioned dropping her...head popped off....I striped her down (Paint) and got her back together. I shot a coat of primer again this morning and hope to move forward soon on this!! ;D

Thanks again Steve! They do have some really nice stuff...some slightly more risque' than this. I like some of their other figs too! Might try and invest in some new one sooner or later. Thanks jackwagon! I will be a bit of learning on this one be that it's still a figure and the forced perspective of lighting to play with.....still looks like fun!! I did manage to slap down some paint on the base moving forward.... This is just one of 3 or 4 steps to this piece. This is just one of them: First...yes, the lamp post is bent a bit...add to the conversation as I could not get it any straighter. Damn white metal! Also, I shot some Titanium Gold prior to the 4BO stuff and rubbed back the paint a bit down low to show through some of the shinny brass look. Not to mention there is a couple of rust coats under the bottom and chipped back slightly as the base is steel and the top brass....don't ask me why!! I have some shading done on the figure, but the pics are still on the camera. I will retrieve them at some point and post a couple! Thanks for tuning in!!

Thanks Gents!! Appreciate you following along on this!!! ;D ;D A bit closer today.... Some toning of some of the stones and maybe a light dry-brush and this is almost ready! This looks funky like I messed with the pic..LOL...just the highlights heading to what I want I suppose. There is actually 4 lights on this. A few steps omitted here, but this is how she stood last night. Since then I placed a light wash and will start with some oils soon! Thanks for hanging out!!
