Vallejo Dark camo brown if you are looking to chip down to bare metal. but modern tanks and such dont chip that badly so i would just lighten your base color a tad for scratches

Dark brown like the new AK chipping color or Vallejo Camo Brown. BUT.... the 113 is made of Aluminum and won't rust. For the 'metal' parts go with the dark brown, light gray for the Alum parts like the main body.

a bit off topic what is the correct color for us/german jerry cans from the 60s i'd say olive drab is a safe choice, but OD comes in many flavours... i know from personal experience when i was tasked to refill a half ton trailers worth of 20L jerry cans (4.5 gal) with fuel, no 2 were the same colour...differant shades and ages of OD, some not OD, alot were repainted at unit level in what ever colour green was around the MT section at the time. from a modeling perspective i think a little variation in colour on your J- cans is a good idea and visually more interesting than having them all the same. food for thought anyway...
