And you said you were a weak figure painter, HA! Ya, right. Fine job my Brother from another Mother. Great flesh tones and camo pattern. That camo pattern, by the way, is not easy to pull off with conviction. You nailed it, and you even got the smurk on his face. Bravo!
Great job Smudge. Cheers, Ski.
P.S. I'm still workin on gettin you to the Oily side, them enamels are passe Bro, lol.

Not seen that one in a LONG time, Smudge! Old CS fig by Kevin Lyles if the senility isn't kicking in again! Nicely rendered, mate. Then, I'd expect nothing less from a fellow Yorkshireman! Gary.

Hi guys Thanks for all the feedback much appreciated. I was happy with his 1000 yard stare and the tiger stripes. Don't think my eyes are up to both now Smudge PS And you said you were a weak figure painter, HA! Ya, right. Fine job my Brother from another Mother. Great flesh tones and camo pattern. I'm still workin on gettin you to the Oily side, them enamels are passe Bro, lol. Cheers Ski. Might have a go with acrylics I have something I want to try. Will test it out on my PAGB or BEF figures

Cheers Gary. I bought a bunch of those white metal figures from the Huddersfield Model Show years ago...maybe as far back as 12-15 years? I got a 54mm Falklands figure (SLR and Bergan) and a French Legionaire in Indochina. Will have to see if theres any details on the labels. I do a lot of work in Leeds. It just needs a decent model shop or I need to develop new business in Halifax LOL Smudge
