Hey guys! Well, I thought it was about time I started posting a few odds and ends so that you can see what it is I do, and give some proof that I actually do slap the odd model together from time to time!! I am still sorting out all my pix (resizing them) and uploading them to PB, but I thought I would kick it off with the first lot of pix. I will add to this gallery as I get more photos uploaded to PB, so stay tuned! First cab off the rank is for the wing-nuts here, my 1/48 Aggressor F-15. This is the Academy two-seater with some mods to flash it up. Mods include: resin bang seats, burner cans from Revell F-15E (perfect fit!!), scratch built HUD, canopy framing, canopy support bar (red thing holding the canopy open) and intake and exhaust covers, AM RBF tags, modified a Sidewinder to make the ACMI pod, minor cockpit detailing. Decals are from Afterburner (aircraft) and TwoBobs (ACMI pod and captive Sidewinder). Enjoy! ;D Hope you like it! As I said, I will post more of my completed stuff here as I get it all uploaded to PB, so stay tuned! Have a couple of WIP's on the go at the mo as well, so I will post them in their relevant threads when the pix are uploaded. Cheers, Sam

Thanks so much for all the positive feedback guys, it means a lot to me coming from such an amazing talent pool of fantastic modellers! Well, as promised, here is some more o' me stuff! Most of these I built a few years ago now, but I am pretty proud of them nonetheless, so here they are for your viewing (hopefully) pleasure! First up is Revell's lovely little 1/72 Fw-190. This kit was a real little gem, went together a treat and was fun to paint. You can't ask for more than that! Next cab off the rank, the gorgeous Tamiya 1/48 Me-109E. Little story to this one. T'was my first real attempt at doing a crashed aircraft. Originally I had no plans to crash it, and had it built up to the stage of being ready for paint. At the last minute I decided I wanted to have a go at crashing it. Trouble was it was already buttoned up, and it's fairly hard to do battle damage once she's all glued together. Then 3 words hit me. Catastrophic. Engine. Failure. Brilliant! Hence the no bullet holes or flak damage. I tried to think about what would happen during the crash, how it would effect the ground, etc. You will notice obvious things such as the bent props (as well as the furrow dug by one blade), and not so obvious things such as the elevators down (and corresponding stick forward) and seat belt thrown hastily over the sill. The earth has forced one of the spring loaded slats back into the wing, while the other one, still in the air, sticks out. The bottom cowl (although hard to see) is crumpled from the impact (thanks Dremel!), and it's clear from the grumpy looking pilot standing around with his arms folded that this all happened behind friendly lines. Think he might be waiting for a lift! So, enough waffling, enjoy!...... Finally, one of my first attempts at armour, my 1/35 (AFV I think?) Scimitar. Built mostly OOB, I did do a few little extras to enhance it, such as tarp and gun cover, and wire around the reel on the back. Weathering was kept pretty light, just a bit of a wash and a drybrush to pop out the details. Definitely not up to the standard of some of you fine fellows, but as armour is not my thing, I was pretty happy with it at the time. Enjoy!... Well, that's all for now folks! I will be back with more at some stage, but for now I hope you have enjoyed this little episode!!! ;D Cheers, Sam

Well kiddies, time I posted some more o' me stuff! Just to show I'm willing to have a crack at most anything, here's one for the "wheelies" I completed this quite a number of years ago now, but I'm still pretty happy with the end result! This is one of Tamiya's outstanding 1:12 motorcycles, the Honda RC30. I decided that I would put my own spin on it rather than do OOB paint, so I did it in a metallic grey all over, gives it a bit of a sinister look! Anyway, without further ado, here 'tis. Enjoy! As usual, feel free to respond with comments, questions or personal abuse. ;D Cheers, Sam

Sam...a great collection, and variety of builds mate! ;D....No faves for me,but I do like the Scimi.....lovely little wagon to drive ;D ....When they first came out, with the 4.2 Jag engine, they took a couple round the Nurburgring, and one went thru the speed trap at 98 mph!!!!!!,allegedly.Had to restrict them tho,too dangerous!
