Hello All, Just like the title suggests.....yup, it's Luigi's fault this time. I know, I know, well all go through are busy days blaming Chris S. for a multitude of items but this comes solely from the Mediterranean region!! After posting a taunting picture on my FB page....which seems to be becoming the norm as of late, I could not help myself. I grabbed a turret off the shelf Saturday and made some modifications and then spent the day yesterday...paint, hair spray, salt, paint , hair spray, salt, paint, hair spray, salt, paint..............  This is where I stand!!! First the antagonizing pic....... For discussion purposes only:  That was all that was needed to help ease the "paint" fix I was craving. First there was a little modification of the KV I turret I had.  A little prime.....  Now some fun stuff.   After a quick seal it was time to add some texture to the piece.     Another seal fest and it was on to the first of about four rounds of Hair Spray and Salt.    Oh yeah, used a ton of salt this time...had to check my blood pressure when I was done...   I omitted about 6 steps here in an effort to not bore everyone too much with my uncontrolled fits of painting withdrawal. There was 5 separate times I added salt ans back and forth with different colors.        I have a little clean up and just got finished cutting a mini base for this....should be done soon!! ;D Thanks for stopping by!!! Oh yeah.....thanks a bunch Luigi!!! ;D ;D ;D |

LOL...Boss, you have weeks of painting ahead of you!!! With all those kits lying around!!! ;D ;D I will figure something out for the section at some point once thing quiet down a bit!

Thanks Steve! Sometime those left over part work out!! Of course now I have the KV Base without the top...but it's all good!! Most appreciate Paul, thank you!! Well, had to mount this!! Cut a small base last night, gave it a love and then put this to bed!! The piece added with some wood and some Silflor Buffalo Grass.  Next I got to dig into one of my boxes of Armor Farm.  I had to laugh, because this stuff should last me forever seeing from the amount that is used. First I separated some section of one stock.  Then using a little PVA stick-em!!   I think it was just enough. I know the original pic had no colored flowers but this add a hint of interest.    And that is that! Sorry for not having the T-70 in there Luigi...better luck next time my friend!! Thanks again for hanging out for a bit!!!! |

Thanks Ian!! Simple = Quick = FUN ;D Thanks BJ!! he ground work was samll handfull of real dirt (not too much gravel) mixed about 50/50 with plaster and then added a dash of AK Dark Earth for good measure and a little water. |
