Rust Stains

I need help. I want to do faded rust stains on a LVCP.
Who can I accomplish this?

Hello Tom,

Not sure what you have at your disposal for materials, but, they can be achieved with oils of course. Mix them until you get the desired color and apply a tiny dot where you want the streaking stain to be. With downward strokes draw the paint until you get what think look right. If too dark, clean the brush on a paper towel and keep going over the spot until lightened.

With AK Streaking Rust, apply a thin line in the area of the rust streak. Wait 5 to 10 minutes and with a brush humid with spirits(not wet,barely damp) stroke the brush once or twice, give a couple seconds to let the spirits set in, then stroke the flat brush in a downward motion until you achieve the desired result.
