Good day Folks! This kit has been fighting me, every step of the way. Please ignore, the yellow paint on the tail, it needs to be redone. The instructions, are rubbish. I am not going to let this get beat me ;D I am still having a blast with this new challenge, I am sure in the end, it will turn out fine. -Steven

Good Day Folks!
I just finished up with a Peterbilt 359 Simi, I was doing has a break from this model. This copter has been fighting me every step of the way. I have decided that I might do this up has a damaged build. I was thinking that it took a hit to the engine, while it was on the ground, right before take off. I been having a tough time on the engine, but the rest of it (so far) has been coming together a little better. Sometimes you have to make the best of what you can, on a build. I am keeping a positive attitude, and refuse to be beaten by this copter ;D

Is it so badly engineered? It's one of my favourite copters ever, looking forward to seeing more

That sounds like a cool dio! No worries Steve, stick it out as long as you can, but if it gets near the Hulk stage of frustration just put it aside and start something new. Around here I think we'd rather see it shelved than in the garbage!

Around here I think we'd rather see it shelved than in the garbage! No way, I would never throw styrene in the trash ;D This is my 2nd attempt at this build, it was already shelved once. It's starting to look like a glue bomb, so I think I will have no choice, but to do a "wrecked" version of the kit. One thing I can say, I am learning a lot from this build, which will improve my skills. -Steven

Looking real good! You are not alone. A buddy of mine in another forum struggled to work on same kit but he made it happen. Hang in there as I am still following your build with interest!

Keep at it Steven, sometimes the best thing to do with a difficult build is walk away for a bit. I have no doubt that with patience and perseverance you will see your way to the end. I for one am looking forward to the finished product. Keep at it mate! Cheers, Sam

MRC makes a Bell 47D kit # BA102.I dont think it's the Revell kit rebagged, because my kit only hase a single gas tank.It can be built as a MASH or attack version. With Army or Marine decals.I'm thinking abuot starting it soon.

Did you ever finish this? FYI, this bird is a later version than the MASH bird. You need the MRC bird for a accurate MASH era bird.
