The British Bedford QL truck Family, ISBN 978-87509010-4 The latest book by Wings and Wheels publications is The British Bedford QL truck Family, ISBN 978-87509010-4, it is in full colour and has 96 pages. The authors are Frantisek Koran and Jan Mostek.Like all in this series it is in English. Split into the various types of Bedford QL’s, starting with QLB, QLC, QLD, QLR, and lastly QLT. It starts with a brief history of the vehicle and its development with the total build of25704. The vehicles are in the main in private ownership and here in the Imperial War Museum at Duxford UK and in the Belgian Royal Army and Military museum on the continent. Each section covers a relevant vehicle with great attention to details and the text is concise adds to the story. As an added bonus there are close up photos of the Canadian Bofors AA. With the new 1/35 scale kits announce by IBG Models this book is going to bea dream for the scratch builders and aftermarket producers . There are 6 colour side profile illustrations to add the wealth of the information. It is a book that is long overdue and will stand the test of time as a standard reference for the Bedford QL series of trucks, very highly recommended. At time of review the price is not know but it is worth every penny. Check with your local book dealer for availability. Many thanks to the Author Frantisek Koran for handing this to me at Beltring War and Peace show for review. Ian Sadler IPMS UK Armour TAS Leader
