Hello out there, just started my new project. its a trumpeter 1/16 scale t34-85 converted to a su-85 converted to a WZT-85 recovery vehicle.  i've spent the weekend getting the hull sorted and have made a start on the cable drums. Steve,The turrets yours if you want it mate. There will be another too if this build turns out ok. I just got another large scale t34 kit and have another recovery vehicle in mind.

Hello out there, I hope you all had a great Christmas. I managed to get some benchtime and used it to redo the fighting compartment of my wzt. i got the angle wrong on the front armour which meant the roof was too long, so the hatches weren't in the correct place.............etc.etc. So I chopped the front off with a circular saw and redid it. It now looks and measures right. I have started on the rear load area and bought the tube for the light crane which is quite an important part of this vehicle. I've worked for 4 days on this and need abreak sooooooooooooo.... I did a Rob and got a shelf queen down and took up where I left off a couple of years ago. It is a Tamiya static 1/16 scale Tiger 1 and has the full Aber etch set. WHAT A PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks the business but does it take some doing! I've never soldered so much for a very long time. The Tiger is going to be a derelict, not burned just very tired! Anyway I hope you like what you see and I hope to get some more done before work again on the second of Jan. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!! Bill      |

Thanks mate. Its not as white as it was first time round. I got a Russian book on the su100 which had 1/35 scale plans and it was then obvious I had c***ed up.
Never mind work is progressing.
