Great builds. I haven't seen most of your wingy builds for a while. Sorry I am little biased but that little Pz III is my favorite and you know why.

The Pz.III is easily my favorite of my armor builds...working on a KV-2 at the moment but my interest is kinda flagging...casting about for maybe something different...

KV-2 with LOTS of chains I recall? Think you will like it here. It is alot easier for me to keep track of all latest builds.

Yep, the chain gang one. Problem is, aside from the chains it's pretty clean...hard to add much interest, at least that I know how to do... Here's where it's at right now...

Love it!
You have come to the right place... you will see or find plenty of threads showing us how to add rust or streaks. Guys here are crazy about this I think. I saw a great thread recently how to add rust to chains but I can not remember who did it. Am sure somebody will tell you when they see this or you can start a separate thread on for KV-2 build when you have the chance.

Really nice builds I like them all Would like to see more of "The Bug" though Ask and ye shall... Almost entirely out of the box. I jacked the bazooka tubes and .50 cal blast tubes from the Tamiya kit, and masked and sprayed the cowl flaps since the decals were useless there. That's about it. I tend to lean toward newer kits like Tamiya's Jug, but the old Monogram is one of my big exceptions. Cheap, fits great and it's a good distraction.

Very impressive collection of work there Doogs! That KV-2 'chain gang' project is one I remember, sorry to hear it's stalled out...was a cool photo that you were working from!

Seriously tho,the Tammy 'bolts do build up nice, don't they? In my opinion they might be the best all-around kit(s) on the market. Excellent mix of detail, engineering and buildability. The level they're at these days...with pretty much everything from the Jugs forward, I'd love to see Tamiya go back and revisit some of their earlier subjects like they've done with the Zero. Just imagine what they could put into a new-tool Fw 190 series...

Hey Doog, welcome aboard. What a way to start!! ;D I love your wingys, but then I am pretty partial to all things wings! I love the Mustang D, and I'm pretty partial to the Mitchell as well! At 1/32 it must be huge!! Cheers, Sam
