this is my current project. this is amt's 1/25 49 ford. i wanted to try some different things and experiment on the painting. here is where she stands now. seeming to have some issues with photobucket. i can get to my pictures through chrome but not ie or firefox. comments and criticisms are encouraged. joe

Hi Joe!! Not sure why the pics aren't working through IE or FF...I use FF and haven't had an issue as of yet. Nice job on this btw. Trying something different is always fun!! Can't go wrong with justification at all!! A nice dark wash or two and some rusting pigs will make those rusted spot pop right out!! Nice work on the rims and the underside too!! Keep it going!!

thanks for the kind words.
i am afraid that i have a limited amount of supplies for weathering and pigments are not part of it. trying to get the look of something i saw when i was a kid. a junker looking car with a shinny or similar engine.

ok just a quick update. please bear in mind i am not a car expert, when i looked online i found many different forms of the way the lines laid. i also found many different forms of the engines. i chose to do what looked decent to me. the engine the interior the redone shocks and then some assorted shots and some exhaust modification. now there are some of you that may look at the windows and say joe you screwed up. those of you who have been in the midwest with a car that has no heater will recognize the look. the lines are milliput. the shocks are rod and tube. comments and criticisms are encouraged. joe

I like this one your full car shots don't do your weathering and rust justice matey, the subtle effects you can see in close up are superb
