Hi Chaps I'm building an Austin Champ as a 1962 2 Inf Div Provost Company Veh. I want to put some stowage in the back and thought I'd put some Convoy route markers poles etc. Heres the problem - I can't for the life of me remember what they looked like. As I spent most of my time moving on exercise aslee......... I mean Map Reading! I didn't really look at the signs (an it was 25 years ago!). Any help gratefully received, could'nt find much via Google. Tony

Tony, from memory, they were usually black discs,or rectangles, approx 6 inches? across, with some sort of 'Route' emblem stencilled in white. These would apply to main route of march,so to speak, then unit advance parties would put down individual tac markers, for DOP's....I'll have a mooch about, and see what I can drag up for you
