Looks like the IPMS Roscoe Turner show in Indianapolis for 2013 will be held on March 23 at the Raymond Park Middle School.

last year I picked up a couple Fujimi Intruder kits in 1/72 scale, and this year I'll be hunting up a couple Fujimi F14A's and at least one more Intruder, plus two or three Scooters (all in 1/72). I'll also be looking for a couple M102 howitzer kits and who only knows whatelse! That show always makes a serious dent in my checking account!

hey I just got into a size 46 sport coat a couple weeks back. 18 months ago it was size 54 to size 56. I can't remember what a steak even tastes like! Weather's getting nice enough to get back on my four mile walks

well I got some bad news, and maybe just a slight bit of good news. The Saturday before easter the VFW Post I belong to does an Easter egg hunt for all the little kids, and guess who is the resident Easter bunny? Starts at noon, and is usually done around one thirty or two, so I'll be kinda late if I get there at all.

So how did I become the Easter bunny? Well lets say too much brew and a pretty red head a couple years ago. They claimed I was the best they'd ever had, and have been in chains ever since! Besides I kinda owe it to all those kids anyway.

I'm praying for six inches of snow so they'll cancell the Easter Egg hunt! This one I cannot get out of because my new grandson is going to be there to get his picture taken with you know who! They'd kill me if I didn't show!

I told the VFW folks that no matter what I'd be out of there no later than 2:00pm, and really wanted to be gone by 1:30pm. It's about a 30 minute drive from Greenwood.I'm hot for two Fujimi F14a's and at least another pair of Fujimi A6's, or A4's in 1/72 scale.

You should make it... the show room may be closed by time you get here but heck the vendors room will be open til about 4pm. Of course some vendors like to tear down their booth early...

I got there about 1:45pm, and there was nobody at the greeting table to collect the $5!! I milled around about ten minutes and just walked in (OK I owe somebody five bucks I know!) Was kinda dissapointed in the vendor selection, but did find a couple Fujimi 109's for the right price. Told everybody I was there for Fujimi F14a's and their A6's and A4's, and was ready to deal. Next thing I know there's three or four guys looking for kits for me! I did find one F14A, but the dealer swore up and down that he had two of them. I told him I'd buy both of them without a second thought. Last year it was 1/32nd stuff missing from the tables and this year it seems to have been 1/72 stuff. (specially decales). The one kit I should have bought, but passed on was a really nice little Finemolds ME410 in 1/72 scale

There was lots of armor for sale, but virtually nothing I was interested in except for some arty pieces. But no Bronco M114a1'a or M102's on any table. Mostly aftermarket resin parts, and the selection was enormis. I'll probably hit the Sharon Park show when it starts later this year

2013 Roscoe Turner IPMS show was very nice show this year. A little off in entries from last year but the vendor area was as nice as ever. Lightened my wallet a bit but not as bad as Andy. I hope he survives when he gets home! Nate, Andy and I did pretty well in the gongage department. Pics to follow on that one. Nate has the mug shots of us so maybe he'll post them up after while.
