I just wanted to confirm the order of process
Tamiya Primer AK Paint Basecoat Flat Clear........should it be acrylic or enamel ? Chipping solution Tamiya Whitewash chipping process Acrylic flatcoat,to protect against AK,Mig,and oil washes and weathering to follow
Would this be a correct process

Hi mate, personally I use acrylic clear in step 3. The hairspray technique which is what this really is, can be hit and miss. If it's your first time I recommend doing a trial first on some scrap plastic or an old model. Good luck!

add a drop or two of water to the AK chipping fluid as it sprays much finer when you do so

Yep, echo spud's comment. I loved it and I think you will like AK chipping fluid too. Those guys made me cough $175 at Interactive AK booth at AMPS show. Sad but they are still my friends...

LOL yeah Andy we got you to buy a lot. But worth it right !
That's is basically the process. The last step is not needed because the paints are acrylics and the weathering products are enamels. Allow the enamels to dry completely and cure before continuing with more. You can apply a misted thin flat coat in between enamels.
