Drum roll please....... MSC Forum proudly presents the Model of the Month MoM competition!
First and foremost, the idea behind this (and keeping within the winning spirit of the site) is purely fun-based
OK Rules.......
1. Competition is open to 'regular' MSC members only (new members must have been a regular contributor for at least a month) and final decisions concerning eligibilty will be decided by Admin, and the Mods - this is simply intended to discourage 'passing browsers' from entering the comp
2. Entries can be any scale, genre or form but must have appeared on the site either in a blog or at least a WIP but importantly, announced as FINISHED within the particular month it is entered. Members may only enter one model each per month.
3. Entries must be submitted to 2 of the Staff within the calendar month of the competition by e-mail. Any number of pictures of normal size (600 x 800) and good clear quality may be submitted but the Mods will select a maximum of 3 for competition display to avoid clogging the thread. Please include a short description detailing the kit(s) used, any AM, special notes, etc. Note: The MoM Gallery will be locked in order to prevent clogging the thread - as you can appreciate we will all have commented on the builds during building and within their own threads
4. The MoM winner will be based on the sites' poll feature and will therefore be a members choice - in the event of a draw Rob or the Mods will take a vote between the winning entries. If a Mod's entry is involved in a split decision the members may vote again to decide the winner. Members can only vote once per month and may vote for their own entry.
Voting will be conducted for one week at the start of each following month. For example Jan MoM will run from 1st - 31st January with voting conducted from 01-07 Feb. If you are going to be unable to vote for any reason and you would still like your vote entered simply inform any of the Mods beforehand and a proxy vote will be entered.
5. Each monthly winner will be announced on the 8th of each following month following voting and the winner will have the MSC MoM Winner tag added to their user profile. At this stage, it is not intended to award prizes for the monthly winners (this may change - watch this space) but at the end of the year the winning twelve entries will be presented in a separate thread and again a vote will be taken to establish the MSCF Modeller Of The Year - for which a substantial stash busting prize will be awarded!!!!! ;D

The votes should be placed purely based upon personal preference; A Blog you've enjoyed, a subject you like or technical ability can all be deciding factors.The point is, it's up to you and entry should therefore be encouraged regardless - anyone can be a winner!!!!
