Hi comrades,
As promised, this is my other PT-76 ,apart from the Prague Spring model that i have posted.
This is an old build, 2011 build but im posting and sharing it anyway.
This is one of my first attempts at scratching an interior.
As you may have seen, the Trumpy PT-76 boasts a huge internal cavity that can be seen when that big turret hatch is open.
What I did was to scrounge the www and look for references for the interiors.
I found some and did some minor work in scratching the turret interior details, driver seat etc.
skirts were also made out of flat styrene shirts.
I based my model on a unit that was stationed in Chechnya theater.
Grafitti was made from tamiya enamels while the spare track armor and spare wheel were from old DML BTR and BMP kits.
The model was painted on a plain green from tamiya acrylics and weathered with oils, pastels and pigments.
