I used the old Italeri Jeep kit on this build . The Marine figure "Gunny" is also from Italeri . Gunny is the second figure that i attempted my painting ability's on . Andy looked at the figure and called it a "Zombie Marine " ......... ............."Zombie Marine "? LOL ! I detailed the kit engine and weathered with pastel chalks .no pigments in my stock at that time . Variouse stowage is from spares box . Looks like i should of dusted this one before i took these new pics . Its been sitting on the shelf for 8 or 9 months. Here's an explanation for the scene that will help . "Gunny's" name is Joe and this is his personal run about . He wanted the oil changed ASAP and an hour later he's ready to head out from the maintenance area . He steps into the Jeep and realizes the oil filter canister is sitting on the fender . In typical "Gunny" language he yells "Who the blankity blank left my jeep like this !"

LOL! I have to ask why your friend Gunny is always angry? Perhaps I send some beer to cheer him up because I thought he was a zombie. I regret for dropping out of that GB even tho it was small but great friends. New rule... don't sign up for another GB until you are done with your current build.

WOW Carl, this looks like a very nice project. And there's a lovely little story behind it. Will you add some more figures (for example the one who left the hood open, or the one who left the oil canister on the mud guard) ?
