I've seen the Huey up close fellas and the pics don't do it justice. It is one very fine build! Great looking work on all Andy! You bringing any to the show in Indy?

T- Thanks man! Hoping for more results... I always ask myself should I do less PE and not to include figures to speed up my builds but I may not enjoy without doing those parts. LOL Carl- Thanks man! Can you do the same? I think it would be great if new guys here can see your past builds in one thread especially the Pz III you built for my GB. Still one of my favorites... that camo job! John- Appreciate your nice words... thanks! I wish I used my best camera to take more pictures of the Huey. I barely beat the clock finishing the Huey in time for the model show then it was given to Bob right after the show. It is sitting on a mantel in beautiful Wyoming right now I was told. I plan to bring the StuG, Pz III K and hopefully the Tiggy if it comes out good. LOL And I hope to build a helicopter if I have enough time... Anthony- Thanks! The StuG is my favorite too... took me a while to build it and I got plenty of help especially Mig at Auburn how to do the streakings and John aka ogrejohn how to do hairspray chipping.

Those look really great Andy! I had to do a double take on the picture of the 3rd figure for the StuG. I couldn't figure out why he had a peg leg! ;D Then, it finally hit me that it was just the angle of the shot.
BTW - love the t-shirt!

afvfan- LOL! Thanks man! I tend to wear t-shirts related to deaf to model shows so everybody can figure out who I am being deaf. That one was given to my wife for Christmas last year and I thought it was too funny!
"Let's hear it for deaf people"... good one!

Believe it or not I did! It was never planned until the wife asked me to. Now I am hooked... I have three or four helicopter kits in stash and my next build will be one. Its a good way to take a quick break from those high parts heavy detailed armor builds you know...
Thanks for looking my friend!

Jack- Thanks! Save me some Tuborg, will you? Dicky- Thanks for your very nice words. Yes, it is all about having fun! Same goes for you and your family!!! Boots- LOL Glad you liked the shirt too. I have several more. I wore 'Deaf Power' shirt at AMPS... being deaf is not something to be ashamed of. Bill- Thanks buddy! You never knew I build a helo? It was all over at FSM Helicopter section! Oh, you only do armors, right? LOL Life is full of surprises... ;D BigJohn- Thanks... you might get to see them in person next year. You have your calendar marked, right? Rob- Thanks boss! That Huey brought me home an award. And the wife found second unit insignia patch which has gone missing and we added it at the model show. LOL Too bad I don't have good final pictures of it...

Carl- LOL You actually remembered those PE seat belts? Those were fun and easy. Sure far better than none or molded seat belts you know.
Tony- Thanks!!! Can't wait to start my next helo build after the Tiger I am working on now.

Thanks Luigi!!! My next build will be Dragon 1/35 AH-6 but it will be converted to MH-6 Little Bird as seen in the movie 'Blackhawk Down' carrying the Delta Force troops on its sides. Should be fun?

Probably... can't remember if it was the only Huey at Roscoe Turner IPMS event. Few of us guys are planning to be there so it would be great if we all can meet. I always need help to haul stuff from the vendor tables back to my car. Where are you located? Merry Christmas!

Andy, you delivered some good build mate ! It's the quality, not the quantity that counts. The new owner of the Huey must be very proud of this one !!! You made a man very happy, look at his smile ! The Panzers look lovely too, and at the end of 2013 you can add a great diorama with the figures you already showed us here !

Guy- Thanks for the nice comment! He was so happy when he first saw it at the model show. He said it was exactly the same Huey he flew! There is no UH-1H kits out there so I had to order aftermarket sets from Cobra Company at his wife's expense unfortunately but she wanted me to build it at its best. Decals were from Fireball which was very impressive too. I can not remember how many decals... for sure at least 50-60 decals. Next helo build will be pretty OOB with just small PE set which I ordered from Lucky Model recently. I am with you about dioramas. Its my goal for 2013 to do one for every build from now on. I need to go back to last two or three builds too since I have great stuff from Armor Farm that my wife gave me for Christmas. LOL Again thanks for taking your time to look... have a great day my friend!
