Favorite spots?!?!?! Jeez, so many great places. Right now I'd like to be in Key West, Florida drinking margarita while listening to Jimmy Buffet songs. What the heck... I am deaf... so I will just watch some nice looking ladies dancing.
Outside USA, definitely Copenhagen, Denmark... drinking beer Tuborg with happiest people on the world.
Anthony, agree with you about Fort Myers and surrounding places... my parents live in Venice just few minutes north for the winters.

Big Sur has to be up there at the top of my list. But cannot be number one! Love the Sadona desert as well. But guess it would probably be up on the Beaverhead or the North Platte River in September or August with a nice five weight bamboo rod in my hands. gary

I don't think I have a favourite place. I surely have a couple of places where I tend to return and another couple where I'd like to return. Once every couple of years I spend an holiday in London or in Paris, they are probably my favourite places in europe. And I'd like to return to Sydney, Rio and Oahu, three wonderful places that make the world nicer

It would have to be the Canyonlands area southwest of Moab, Utah. Best not go there in the summer, tho.
Regards Mark

I want to visit the north side of the Grand Canyon in the winter sometime before I croak. Another very interesting place to take a trip thru is a drive on US 212 from Red Lodge to the north east gate of Yellowstone N.P. Better done in an SUV, but forget a motor home. Road is closed in October till late April or early May. Beware that this is bear country, and not those little black bears. gary
