This is an Alpine Fig 35064


Just something to get me over the next few days i think . i used Tamiya XF-1 Matt black mixed with Cellulose Thinners for my Primer coat.


Now while that dries ill be brushing up watching this Awesome DVD

Alpines are my favorite spud, for my diorama The Rusty Admiral I think of adding a couple of figures too, because it's so long ago I did one. Good luck and have fun !

Always wanted to get that figure... perfect for future diorama pointing at target for the Panzer or StuG to fire at, etc.

Let us know if the DVD is good and if it has subtitles for deaf ugly modelers like me.

it Does have subtitles Andy and its an Awesome DVD ive watched it before but i fell asleep

Not sure what ill do with the Fig yet but first thing is to have fun painting him

Kidding... take your time. I have been thinking about getting that DVD too since it has subtitles. I recently noticed on the photo of DVD you posted earlier and it shows subtitles. DUH!!!!

I still struggle to paint eyes on my figures so any help would be great...

i paint my base coat the eyes then "fix" the eyes and continue about the rest of the face and it seems to work well for me

well here we go awkward as hell to get a decent pic of it over the angle of his head . this is teh second go first was too pale and the reddish cheeks was non existent this is way better and i like it.

Well done Spud, you have given him a 's--t where did they come from?' look, his skin tone is spot on with that raw cold look.

I agree with guys! Huge improvement especially the tone of skin. I am trying to get that kind of tone on my figures but never had luck!

working on the jacket i may do some more highlights on it as it is hard to see them in the pic.

Spent the event adding layer after layer after layer and... you get the idea and after all that its hard to see it in pics but it person its fecking Awesome.

There is still things to do to the jacket like the buttons. Next on the list tough is the pants and that wont be easy as i want to do that white.

Pics aint great but i cba taking more.
