Hia all, I was adding a coat of primer to my sturmie-thing outside (so as to not stink up the house via the tamiya spray can), and me being me, it started snowing just after i finished. There was a partial "rust" coat underneath, and when the snow that got stuck to the wet paint melted, you could see it - as if it was pockmarks, etc. I have no idea if this is useful for anyone, just throwing it out here. Sounds like a great technique...the only challenge would be getting it to snow on demand when you need it in the future!
