Hi folks,
I plan to use some pe parts on my next model - a M-47 Patton. What kind of glue do you guys use, to fix it on the model?

I agree with every thing Dicky said. I will add this - from personal experience. Beware of the product "Gator Glue" I have three different bottles and i swear that their all 3 are bad batches or something as i cant get it to stick any of my PE parts and i sand and clean all surfaces all times. Just a heads up my man. Gary

I have Never had any of this Fogging not that it would matter because it will be painted over, i use Deluxe Materials Rocket Max super glue and it has a bond time of 10-20 seconds so there is a bit of time to work with

Guys let me fill you in on a known problem with Gator Grip. I've used it since it was first put out for sale by the maker and never had a problem with it but some have and the reason is temperature.
I bought my first bottle during warm weather luckily and before I ran out the problem surfaced. If Gator Grip(a water based glue) is exposed to freezing or near freezing temps anywhere along the shipping chain it's toast.
I always wait till late summer to reorder, that way my chances of getting a bottle that's never been exposed to cold is in my favor hence I get a good bottle.
I use it for my PE about 90% of the time and solder only when a part might be under stress. It's a good product in my book
Sorry about it's short comings for cold temperatures Tony lee

I've had the same experiences as Tony regarding Gator Grip. Always order in the summer!
