Hey guys Chris asked what was next and there was indeed something in the wings ;D. Started this Friday night. Wanted to get my hands on this kit as soon as I saw it released. Got it last Wednesday and just couldn't stop myself . Partially completed office. Kit seems to be going together ok so far, some little fit issues with the engine and a slight Dragon moment with the Instructions. During the fit of the engine and the prop they call out a D part number but that is actually the clear sprue, it's not hard to work out the correct part though. cheers Rossco

Nice start Rossco. I always like those Italeri aircraft kits. Deyail is great for the price of the kits. Will follow this one.

Robbo, welcome mate, yeah not as glamourous or as pretty as the Spitfire but just as important.
jackwagon, ;D cheers mate.
T, thanks mate, hope it doesn't get too bumpy.
Rob, only my second Italeri kit mate, first being the Tiger but as you say not bad detail for the price.
Chris, cheers mate, I'm reserving judgement on the kit atm, I put the gun ports/cover in the wings last night and the fit was a bit iffy. The big test comes when we seal up the fuselage and mount it on the wings.
cheers

A little bit of work done. The instrument panel. Seems to be a theme developing here, close but no cigar. If you look closely you will see that the PE is just slightly off from the decal. The office. The Engine, added a light dry brushing of Aluminium, then a little AK Interactive Engine Grime and some touches of Vallejo Light Rust. Added the Gun port's to the wing, this is the best fit I could get, filler time, hmm wasn't that an ad for an American beer.. "Miller Time" ;D. cheers Rossco

Base colours added. Made a real newbie mistake, forgot to paint the fuselage under the canopy, so I had to remove it, hasn't helped the fit any. cheers Rossco

ChrisS, yeah mate definately needs a panel wash.
Chris67, thanks mate.
Rob, when I looked at the paint schemes, two jumped out at me, the Irish version with it's interesting decals and this one. while this one is more restrained with the decals the overall colouring was so different just had to go with it.
cheers
