Hello comrades!
Id like to share with you my first model for 2013.
This is the first one to be finished for this year.
It is the trumpeter BMP-3 early version.
The kit was built out of the box with no modifications.
Tracks were kind of a pain as they are made with 2 parts each
but im grateful that this is now finished.
Here you go guys:
The BMP-3 is a russian-designed infantry fighting vehicle.
This is the lates version of the BMP series that started with the BMP-1 during the 1960s.
The vehicle is fully amphibious and can accomodate troops and also giving them the option to fire their weapons from the inside of the vehicle.
This is an integral part of the russian tactical doctrine of tanks and infantry coordinated action.
The kit is made by Trumpeter and was presented with sharp details comapred from the older Skif versions.
I built this out of the box with no modifications made.
The kit was finished with tamiya acrylics and painted based on BMP-3 units stationed in Siberia Russian Far East.
