Besides models, one of my other hobbies is watching sports, and I love NFL Playoff time.My team the Oakland Raiders have stunk for so long and have not been in the playoffs, but I still enjoy all the games, especially this coming weekend.
So who do you guys like, with the Raiders out I usually root for the Patriots. It should be a good January.Anybody else pumped for the playoff's and super bowl ?

Since Colts are out I am rooting for Broncos of course because of Peyton Manning. Actually there's only one thing will make me happy... seeing Patriots knocked out of the playoff. LOL Just a friendly reminder what happened to the Patriots last year...

Niners fan all the way! Wouldn't mind seeing the Broncos take it the Super Bowl...Peyton doesn't have too many years left in him.

Before the forst snap of the playoffs one of the better announcers predicted that it would end up with the Broncos and New England facing each other in the Superbowl. Kinda looking that way right now. I can't see the Pats beating the Broncos on neutral turff, but yet I expect it to be a one touch down game.
The problem with this is that you have two spoilers in the way. Seattle and the Forty Niners! Seattle has just about peaked, and the Forty Niners have peaked. New England peaked six weeks ago. Denver is still a work in progress, and is maybe six weeks out from peaking. There will be no home town refs and BS calls in the Super Bowl, and right now Manning is probably throwing better than anybody in the NFL, plus he knows how to beat the Pats better than anybody else. He has a better team in front of him than he's had in the last five or six years to boot. The one glitch to this is the Seahawks. gary

Broncos and Pats cannot meet in the Super Bowl, same confrence Peyton Manning has only beaten the Pats once in the Playoffs in 2006

If I were to pick a team, I'd go with the '49ers. Not because I think they have a chance to win, but because I don't like the others.

Has anyone heard that RGIII is out for 6-8 months? made a total mess of his knee with both the ACL and LCL needing surgery.......i hope he has the sort of comeback year that Adrian Peterson had....however i think the decision to play RgIII, when he had already got a bad knee was very short sighted. And i am not saying this with hindsight, just seeing him with that knee brace on at the start of the game was enough to show he should not have been playing. Regards from the Swamp Eth based on what i had heard it was a case of the coach should have listened to the doctors and the training staff and not the player. from what i heard the coach went with the player saying how he felt good and downplayed the advice from the medical people. joe

Bradey told it all in an interview last fall, and what he's said has came to pass in spades. If there are any weak spots in the Pat's defense, Mannig will pick it apart, and there are a lot of big holes in it. gary

I love the kid in Seattle, but RG3 is the complete package. Luck is right in there as well, but for me he's not as exciting as RG3. I think Luck has a better arm, but RG has a much better out of the pocket game. Luck is still in a learnong mode, and didn't really start to read defenses well unill the last two or three games he played in. The one advantage that RG3 had was that he came into a team that was well along in the rebuild process where Luck was just a brick in the foundation for a new team. He's two seasons out from being behind a good team. Manning will probably be the MVP this year as he is uaually. But he came into an already good team, and pretty much sealed the rest of the puzzel gary

i do have to say rg3 definitely was the real deal. i thought he might not be after he finished at baylor but he proved himself this year. luck has some learning to do but he is good for the colts. the kid in seattle has been a major suprise to me. figured he would be a back up for a while and then bounce. he has really brought life to the hawks.

He's pretty much a Peyton Manning clone in his game plan. I always thought Eli had a better arm, but always felt Peyton played a little smarter. Over the years I've seen two players that could dismantle a defense before the ball was snapped, and Manning was one of them, and the other played with the Bears. All the rest are at least a rung lower on the ladder. Nobody period could manage time better than Peyton Manning period. Where he learned that I don't know, but it could come from his work ethics. Nobody in the game has ever studied another team as well as Manning has. gary

Ahhh Yes...the old Brady Vs. Manning debate kinda like asking someone to choose between a Ferrari or a Lambhorgini lets break it down,if your a purist you can look at the numbers.Manning in the playoffs is 9-10,Brady 16-6,no QB in the history of the NFL has played in more superbowls than----you guessed it Tom Brady. His 3 SB wins are more than Eli&Peyton combined.Brady owns a higher career winning % than Manning(including the only 16-0 regular season in NFL history) Manning holds the edge for TD's&yardage, but he also has played 2 more seasons than Brady-----I'am not bashing Manning,he's the real deal, but for my money It's Brady, you can't argue those numbers...MVP's are nice, but I'd rather win the big one! Bradey has flat said the Peyton Manning is the best quarterback to ever play the game. He said it on national TV this fall. gary

I thought Dan Marino was better then all of them, but if you don't win super bowls they write you off, when in fact football more then any other sport depends on your supporting cast, including the defense.Elway was a bum until he got a running game and a defense and finally won a couple of super bowls.
Peyton probably better by a hair,Brady more productive in playoffs

Andy, pleeeeeze.... go back and look at some of those matchups between the Pats and the Colts in the playoffs and look at Manning at the end.... no difference - both of these guys are they type that hate to lose. I can't see you you can suggest that Manning is a classier guy than Brady. They both have class in spades.

But what would you expect him to say: "I am the greatest ever!" None of these guys would say that - well maybe Cam Newton would.....

Obviously, I'm a Pats fan, and I think they get by Houston this weekend, but if the Broncos win (and I suspect they will) I don't have a ton of confidence that the Pats can beat them at home. They have NEVER played all that way in Denver. Of course, an argument could be made that, while the Broncos have won 11 straight, they have played a pretty soft schedule, so what does that record mean.
That is actually little consolation to me - when Peyton is on his game, and with the Broncos at home, it'll be a tough test for the Pats.
For the SB, I'd love to see a rematch of either the Pats and Seahawks or the Pats and SF. Too bad it'll probably be the Broncos.... but I can always hope... :-)
