Yeah, a punt return for a TD and a pick-6 by Peyton. Exciting first quarter!

Damn,Peyton does it again !!!! 9-11 in the playoffs But what an game!!! Being a Cowboys fan im not used to seeing great games like that. I was goin' for The Broncos so im dissapointed once again. With the game winding down with under 2 minutes left, they blew it! 3 runs up the middle....WHAT THA.....With peytons arm they didnt even try to get a first down and then runout the clock......im stummped on that! Its like tha Cowboys showed up to play with 2 minutes to go. Oh, and the field goal "chili dip" attempt Never saw a kicker in the NFL kick tha ground a foot brhind tha ball before...thats new! Oh well, GO HOUSTON TEXANS!!!!! ;D Gary

Have to agree with you there Tony...6 points from FGs instead of going for it on 4th downs would've won the game.

Well, all my teams went down in defeat. But im still all about football so i got to dry my tears and decide whos my pics. I want the Patriiots to crush the crows...i mean Ravens. The NFC i just dont know enough about either team. Im gonna go the way of Tojo.....Patriots vs. Niners. Patriots win the big one....i think I'd like to see that matchup anyhow. Gary

For sheer action, I cannot put anything ahead of Hockey. Go BRUINS!
Obviously, I'm a pretty big football fan too, but there is way too much standing around (a study that I use in one of my classes concluded that in a 60-minute football game, on average only 11 minutes of actual football is played! Boooooo!! :-)

Oh boy there he goes bradying again... Great games today! Good reminder why I love football! Now I have to decide which team I should be rooting for Super Bowl. Probably the Ravens again since they are AFC and they have beat tough teams Broncos and Patriots.

College Basketball,I kind of lost interest with the one and done student athlete, you really can't identify with any team unless your an alum as the players come and go too fast now.
I'm sorry the Pats are out,now we can watch the "Har-Bowl" I don't particularly care for either team, but i'll root for the Niners

as for the games yesterday i told someone before they began that it didnt matter who won the sf/atl game the winner of bal/ne would win the superbowl. i still think so. baltimore is just plain tough. plus they are playing for ray lewis now. i really dont think the niners will be able to overcome the emotions the ravens will bring.
as for college basketball, i also get tired of the one and done athletes. however i am a basketball fanatic. i just love the game. and in all honesty it is the games that feature the lower tier teams that i enjoy the most. the ones that show just how much of a team sport it really is suposed to be.
those two weekends in march with all those games are my favorite two weekends of the year. this year i hope to see a sixteen seed knock out a one seed. show that the little schools can play as well.

For someone who had no rooting interest in either team,it was all you can ask for in a game, really enjoyed this season.
Hopefully the Raiders can start to turn it around next season.
