These are the completed aircraft builds i have done since 2008. Again, the free standing one will be getting Dio's at some point. they are all 1/72nd. B-24H built useing a Hasegawa B-24J kit. This is part of a personal project to build aircraft from all 37 military airfields in the fine county of Norfolk. This is the first one completed. Academy B-17F, again a part of my Norfolk airfields project. This one was based at Snetterton with the 96th BG. I am really into Luft 46 builds, and this is one of them. Dragons P.1101 built as a production aircraft with moving swing wings. I gave it the designation of Me 424. Academy Me 262C-1a. Dragon Mistel 5 Bilek MiG 21 Hasegawa MiG 23. And finally, another Luft 46 build, the Huma Fw Triebflugel. The tower was scratchbuilt useing brass rod soldered together, my first attempt at soldering. I was really pleased with this one. Thanks for looking, all comments more than welcome.

I know, i think it would have been easier to make the aircraft one use only and just bail out. Also, the engines on the end of the rotaors are ram jets, and as i understand it, they only work when the aircraft is already at high speed. So it would have had another engine first to get it moving and then to land it.

Thanks a lot guys.
Dicky, i currently have kits for 24 of the 37 airfields, now its getting a bit difficult to find the right kits. I should be building another B-24 later this year, lots of those based in Norfolk.
prof, i assume you mean the Triebflugel. That is my favorite built kit at the moment, it brought a number of new things i have learnt lately all together.
Bots, soldering is something i have been putting off to ages. I use a lot of PE but most of it can be glued. But i do have a few with larger bits that really would be better soldered. This was the perfect chance to practice without destroying an expensive PE set. It was a bit tricky, luckily i could clean it up with a needle file easily enough.

Thank you Eth.
The inspiration for the MiG 15 was said to have been the Ta 183, but i know what you mean. The Me 424, and thats just my designation, was the worlds first swing wing aircraft and did exist as a prototype, though it didn't fly.
Theres deffinatly more of my stuff to come, includeing quite a few Luft 46 build, one of which is a 424 nightfighter.
