Well as usual a little bit of snow hits the ground here in the UK and the country grinds to a halt! Here in Wiltshire the roads are particularly bad and I am not looking forwards to attempting to go to work tonight, wish me luck! here's a couple of pics from the safety of my house!

I loved it. None of my family could use cars today so we all had a day off and walked a couple of miles to the shops and had lunch out. Great days.

That looks great,I wish we would get a decent storm. To me it's not winter without one good blizzard, and we have not had a good one since early 2011.

Got a fair dump of it down here but all the main roads are fine.
We are braced for more snow tomorrow lunchtime...
I'm not too bothered, I can work from home!

I'm supposed to be going to the Royal School of Artillery at Larkhill in Wiltshire at 6am tomorrow to repair their MLRS RRPR rocket packs. What's it like down there? I'm planning to go M40, A34,A303 as I think the Fosse Way will be a no-no. You should be fine, the main roads are all clear and at the moment very dry

Yesterday- 2/12 hours to travel 4 miles to work - some of it in a distinctly crab-like fashion (good job Chris B wasn't in my neck of the woods ;D )

My job entails delivering drugs (legal) to old / vulnerable people so my work has increased thanks to the bad weather but I've seen some happy faces as I hand the medication over to them on their door step
