Reaction from my girlfriend : "I don't get it. Do men really prefer bikes over women ?" "Not exactly dear, they are quite similar : flashy, made to show off and a great ride ! But a bike is ready to go every time you turn the key. Auuuw ! .... !!" (ducking to avoid the second shoe after the first one hit me in the face)

Damm, I had to give up beer... Found out it was full of female hormones... That's why I always started whining and bitching after a couple of beers... Repeating everything twice and more... Life just ain't fair.

Here's one for ya fellas: The building I work in has 6 floors and my office is at the top- obviuosly! In oder to keep my shape I like to use the lift . Over the last 12 months of so we've noticed that when the thing breaks down it seems to be taking longer to sort out. I was chatting with some of our own in house maintenance guys and asked why? They told me the contract for repair was recently set out for tender and the contract went to a new company. Problem is that the old contract was with the lift makers and they have the a monopoly on the supply of spare parts. The new company is finding it "difficult" to acquire necessary parts in good time for speedy repairs. Make of that what you will. ...and people complain about how the public service works P

Hi all with Christmas nearly a pond us once again, I like to wish you all a Very Merry Xmas and a safe one as well if you are traveling over the festive season. My wife heard about this great little site at work today which I thought I'd share it with you all. It's nothing to do with modelling just something special for the little ones in your life and after seeing my little girl's reaction to it tonight I thought that it might bring a smile to the little ones in your life. It's personalized message from Santa for the kids where he'll say their name and once you've added a photo of your little one it appears on a book that Santa reads out to them, very quaint as the wife would say.
Give a personalized video message from Santa!

Forgive me,for I have sinned!!!!! ......I fell out BIG time with my better half, with regard my alleged rehab after giving up smoking, and coming to terms with having COPD!!!....She told me to get fitter, and whatever....but then she started to tell me WHAT to do,to achieve that!!....My words......'My problem,I'll do things MY way!!!!'....Didn't set to well? (Neems'll back me up,he saw me huffing, anda puffing the other week....if I do things too quick,I won't be here too long!!!!)I know she means well, but surely she's gotta trust me to do it slowly,my way? Your thoughts PLEASE???

Dicky.....I reckon it's a case of 'Rock, and hard place'.....I have trouble doing the exercise, cos I can't breathe.....but I really do need to exercise,to start feeling better! my thoughts are :- Gentle Callisthenics to start, and then walking where possible. At the mo,I don't really fancy venturing to far from home, and at least I control how the exercise is done,eh?

OK.....It's been awhile since I ventured into the 'virtual' Pub,to say anything, and if I'm honest,I'm only doing this now to get something off my poorly chest!! What I'm going to try to say,is aimed more at the guys who helped get this Forum going in its infancy, but still applies to all the fellas who have signed up,and joined in with the inevitable mayhem, but at the same time, sublime modelling that goes on here. Modelling,in itself,is generally a very solitary affair,as we all know....but the 3 w's brings us all together more than we could ever have imagined 20 years ago.I know there have been model clubs knocking around for a LONG time, where 2 or 3 blokes met in the corner of a pub every third monday of every month, and talked about how terrible the recent Frog release was,etc,etc,....,or WOW Dragon have brought out ANOTHER PzkwIV of some ferkin sort!!! Enough bollox...What I'm trying to really say is,I am well chuffed to be a Moderator,on the best chuffin interweb modelling Forum,it has been my distinct misfortune to be involved with, and I hope to be with you fellas, and get to meet most of you in person,at some point in my relatively limited time on this planet(Not going anywhere yet, that was just a figure of speech.) If I don't post on threads,it's not cos I don't look in,it may just be a subject I know ferk all about,or I have nothing to add to all the other fine comments being bandied about, but you CAN rest assured,I do look at most threads, over the week....if only to make sure I haven't missed out on a good belly laff!!! THANK YOU all,for being my friends!!!! Chris B(CeeBee)

Chris, I recently had some oral surgery and had a prescription for Vicodin. Not the first time I've had a prescription for the stuff. Anyway, one of the side effects for me is that I get really chatty, and specifically, sentimental. So, sir...I hope whatever it is causing you the pain that you need those meds that you find relief soon. That being said (jokingly), I'm relatively new around this particular forum but it's pretty clear that it's one of the better ones. I haven't seen any bickering, discrediting anyone for not "rivet counting" etc. etc. It's really charming and friendly around here. It's also kind of clear to me that Armor is the preferred subject, and momentarily I'm heavy into aircraft, so I don't know much about a lot of the stuff being built here, so I don't comment as much as I should. There isn't a much traffic in the Aircraft section, but you armor guys still pop in and comment and are truly kind. So I keep coming back, and I will continue to do so. Anyway, this went longer than I intended, but all the work of the mods and admins, and those that launched this forum is greatly appreciated. See you around, sir!

CeeBee- I love you too! Jimmy- I consider myself armor & figure boy but hell I love following wingy builds. Few months ago we saw a lot of wingy builds. Looks like guys have shifted back to tracks but I am sure they will be building something with wings. Glad you enjoy your time here... one day I will build one as I have couple of wingy kits in my stash.

Sorry fellas,
The past two weeks I suffered heavy pains in the back. The pain is still killing me and my mojo for modelling is gone, can you imagine that ?
I'm not tired of the hobby, you all know that modelling is my life.
Today I'll see my doctor again. I wan't online the past days.
I miss you my friends and I hope to start again soon.
Best regards ! AG.
