tell me again what the four base colors you use again. Hiya Joe, I'm using Titanium White, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Raw Umber. Burnt Sienna and Titanium White will be the two main colors to blend for the flesh tones. We really didn't get that far, just shading the background, but hopefully this winter I can get the right days off and we can carry on from where we left off. I got in a bit more time and worked over the second head, the third head is in the line up. I redid the iris and glint on the first head, it's startin to tick me off, size changing and shape of the left side. I think I will redo them both, can't past muster like this. Ah, ya know, the usual high speed tweaks that occur when using an 18/0-7000 round. Trust me, I'm using two sets of magnifiers, 2.75 reading glasses and a magnifier light, so I have no idea what that comes to, but it's stinkin close! One of these days I'm gonna have to break down and buy a magnifier headset, HA! well, I did get more reddish tones in and worked his lips a bit. The second head is blending out nicely with a lot more to go. I'll be adding the new steps after the initial is completely dried, feather in the transparent lighter layers of reddish tones and more highlights. Thx for watchin. Cheers, Ski.

Hi Ski I'm not an expert on German cammo but it looks fine to me. I'm looking forward to the next stages. Superb attention to detail too I.E. the change of pattern between seams and panels in the material. Nice touch often forgotten (especially by me ) Great job mate Smudge

Smudge, Joe, thx for the third and forth eye Gents.
I only have my Osprey books right now, so I'm running with what I got. I'm using Tamiya acrylics Joe, works well for this kind of stuff.
I'll be working in the weird dark stripes into it soon and get more pics up if this inet holds out a bit longer, lol.
Thx Guys. Cheers, Ski.

Thx Bill. I was trying to avoid the usual tightening as time progressed. Gotta get up and walk for a bit to keep the fresh perspective.
Cheers, Ski.

I've had to do the same when working with intricate patterns...especially ones that are supposed to be 'random'...after a while it's harder to keep it truly random!

Thx Ag and Bill, the second fig will have a similar pattern, but I'll shake it up a bit. Gotta get these beastly figs done so I can work the base and weather the bikes.
Cheers, Ski.

Thx Gents,
Dicky, we're all guilty of missin a beat at our age Bro, no worries, lol. Boots, keep Dickey in line please, and Leon and Phil, please stand by, it’s snow fall time and that means wez gonna sniff some “serious” paint and glue our fingers together lots this winter, lol.
Thx for the encouragement Gents, which is probably why Brother “Smudge” pointed me here, camaraderie is spot on and the learning curve is increased with each post on the site. Big thanks to Rob!
Updates on faces soon and thx for watchin. Cheers, Ski.

Thx Gents,
If I can keep from slicing my left index finger I may get more done, lol. I'm building up the Panzergrenadier Machine Gunner right now. Not a clean build by any means, slag not bad, but fit is pathetic and the mess kit and attachments are battling me all the way. T'sall good.
Thx for watchin guys. Cheers, Ski.
