Now go easy on me, I'm still a rookie at this stuff! (Not sure how much longer people will let me get away with saying that. ;D) This is Tamiya's 1/48 scale KT. Pretty much box stock. I think I did add some PE screens, but that's about it. Purely a painting exercise. I had started this earlier in the Summer, got the tracks and road wheels done, then got too scared to paint it. Once my auto subjects had slowed down, I decided to pull it back out and try to paint it. The base colors are all Tamiya. I mixed them to get them as light as possible. Here's the track units.... And here's where I'm at now. Still a ways to go. I haven't done any chipping yet, or really any weathering. Just trying to work slow, and make sure I stay working clean, and not make too many mistakes. Once the base coat was on, I gave it a coat of Vallejo satin, then did the wash with AK Brown Wash, then sealed it again, decaled it, sealed that, then did the oil fading. Still need to work in chips and scrapes, and then get into the pigments. I also need to add the spare tracks to the turret. Looks pretty plain so far, but I'm having fun, and learning as I go. This is the first time I've ever tried the oil dot fading. It didn't go as bad as I was expecting! Thanks for looking, and any advice is appreciated! I hope to get it finished up this weekend if all goes well. Clay

S***......that new guy thing isn't gonna work now that you've shown the model.....and what a paint job too... Like I told you back then dude, those tracks and wheels look fantastic. Those are some of the best tracks I've seen around. Heck even I leave the damn things off because I can't paint them well. The camo and weathering looks perfect bro...love the streaking by the way. When you starting that Russian thing ;D ;D
