Looks very nice Tony! What basecolor did you use for the figure? Fieldgrey - I'm painting a crewmember for the Elefant and not sure which grey to use (I assume Panzerjäger crew didn't wore the black panzer uniform?)

LifeColor Field Grey Some SPGs were under SS commands and the crews wore black. The Marder II D was also issued to the 5th SS-Panzer Division =1944 Ukraine. Mine is the 29th Panzergrendiers so they wear Field Grey uniforms.
I've got a Ferdy and a Elee but have not done any research on them yet so I don't know which outfits had them. Sorry
Tony

no prob mate...thanks for the info anyway. I gave the fig a basecoat of Vallejo Field Grey...looks ok, though I like the black uniform more. But when I look at contemporary photos of the crews of Pz.J.Abt.653 it seems like their uniforms were lighter.
other than that: do you know if the collar tabs were the red or pink waffenfarbe?
A lot of questions, I know ;D ;D ;D
Cheers

How about this one being next Rob? Not to be slapping myself on the back but I never in my wildest dreams thought this Marder would turn out this well. It's not finished yet but i'm very pumped up with the progress so far. Polishing a turd even with AM is not an easy chore. ;D I appreciate the fact that all the members here have kept me motivated.
