A bit of refresher: This is the DML Mid Production #6460 Smart Kit. AM: Atak Zimm--Griffon PE--Friulmodel tracks The PE set was humongus and since I figured the brass would make or break the build I used it as the starting point. If I failed I could at least still do an OOTB build. As luck would have it and Griffon having a great product the task was not as hard as it looked. Atak Zimm applied, primer and a base coat of Dark Yellow Friuls finished and installed The aluminum skirts are assembled and painted but they cover up so much of the machine i'm undecided about mounting them or not. This SPGs main purpose was urban fighting and you don't see many photos with them intact anyway. As soon as I finish the Marder II D i'll be back to work on this one. See Ya Later Tony

My Hummel is completed but I do have the AFV CLUB and the new DML Nashorn. I was going to build both of those together for a comparison project. Surely you remember the Hummel Tony

Yep, I remember that one Tony. I've got the older Nashorn in the stash, was thinking of knocking that one out. Already knocked the Hummel out.

The Abt.216, Italy 1944 paint scheme is on. I used my new Badger Krome AB for the first time on this and as they say it will take a little getting use to. I've got a lighter shade of the green for fading to apply yet. I got a few splatters while finishing up the base color blend coat when the cup ran out of paint but I can retouch those spots. Later Boys and Girls Tony

That's how I see it too jackwagon. I got in on some of that field painting in Nam and know how GIs have no culture. ;D Yeah I saw that figure set and figured we would be seeing more of them used.
Thanks guy Tony lee

That sort of scheme tripped my trigger too and besides it was a little different from most of the Bear paint jobs you see on the other sites.
Thanks Again Bro Tony
