Oi dare folks. I started this about a year ago. It is the Dragon Sd.Kfz 265 Kleine Panzerbefehswagen I. Try to say that fifteen and half times fast! ;D I didn't get too far with it but the wheels and tracks are in place. That's a good chunk. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it. I have an idea. It will be something different.

This is a fun kit, I loved it ! The tracks look well executed ! I bought Friuls for it but these are great too.

Thanks for the comments guys. Glad to know I'm in good company. Yes, she will be worn. Thats the only way to do a military build in my opinion. Worn good at dat! Been busy. I have most of the upper hull work done with the exception of the frame antenna. I usually leave the glass for the lights off until paint is applied. And I think I'll leave the tools etc. off so I can paint separately. This should be fun. Although I should finish my Staghound before I do much more to this. I left the front fender part off so I could damage it. I always like to damage at least one fender. I mean after all, it's the least I could do right? I also have to fill a few gaps and whatnot. Great little kit but I have to say the fit is a bit tricky in places. Thanks for dropping by.

wow that went together fast. I stopped on mine when the tracks started to fall apart on me....and the tiny PE stuff was enough for me. very inspirational build, thanks for getting the blog going here.

The fit is tricky in places indeed noname, with a bit of attention nothing to worry about.
I'm hooked, have fun !

Thanks guys. Yours looks good Armorguy. I added the antenna. Decided to only do a little damage to the fender. I realized this tank was not big enough to crash through buildings and whatnot. And these are very small tanks.

Thanks guys. Ya, the tracks look great. Definately a challenge as they are so small. I thought this would be a super difficult build but it actually isn't that bad. Specially when you realise that half the instructions are for other versions and you can ignore them. I got this for something like $25 at Spruebrothers. And yes, I look forward to paint. I just have a couple other projects I'm finishing up.

Thanks guys. I got primer on the tank and it's bits. Why white you may ask? Cause that is all I have at the moment. But it works right? I also don't have any Panzer Grey or even flat black to mix my own. So I'll have to get something in order to paint the sucker. But then again, I do have some Nato Black and some Model Flex Weathering Black as well as some Tamiya grey and Modelmaster white. I bet I can figure something out here. We'll see.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Wow. That was different. I just painted the Kleine and used my Badger for the first time. Not use to this dual action business. But, I made it out alive. Looks a little lighter in this photo than it is in real life. I didn't want it to be too dark, I want it to look like it's been in the sun and elements for a while. I used Badger Model Flex Grimmy Black to start. Then I mixed some white, grey, nato black with a touch of blue. Then threw in some highlights with a lightened version of the second colour. Ahhhh, who needs Panzer Grey? ;D I'll add some decals,(there aren't many) then the fun begins. And...things are going to slow down. Alot of weathering here to do. Thanks for stopping by. I'd offer ya cup of tea or a drink of Scotch but you know how it is.

After looking at the above photo I decided maybe a little on the light side. So I went in with a darker shade. Not too dark, but juuusst right. ;D Then I cleared it with Testors matt (rattle can). And added the only three decals rquired for this version. Then of course a wash. This pic. helps show how small this thing is. I think you'd have to be a little fella to operate this tank.

The Kleines definitely weren't known for their spacious accomodations for sure! Nice to see it with the markings on, the addition of the darker shading gives it a nice touch IMHO.

Thanks Bill. Neat little rigs these. I like the fact they are not very violent tanks. No big gun that is. I wanted to do something a little different with this, still thinking out the details.
