Seeing as im more or less done with the 223 and have no ab to paint some other stuff i may as well stick somit together. So my choice is this Beast the German Neubaufahrzeug Nr 3-5 By trumpeter, Dragon has one of these as do Amusing hobby, This one comes with 2 small brass barrels for the main turret also the tracks are like Mk ones so they will be interesting to use. If anyone is interested there is a review build of all 3 from Amusing, Dragon and Trumpeter on PMMS wich i had a gander at and see that the kit isnt perfect but im not a rivet counter and build for fun Pic

Got my attention Spud. Thanks for the link to the comparison. Looks like the AH has some better detail than the others. The addition of MK style tracks is great.

Lol Dicky you make up in slowness for awsomeness with the white ;D
Chris box says 1100 parts but i think thats taking the tracks into account because there aint a lot in this one,

Look forward to seeing you build the monster Spud! The Neubaus were a kit that I never thought would EVER see the light of day in styrene and now we have 3 to choose from! I have yet to get one and will be following this with interest.

Wheels are always the tedious step and best to get it out of the way and done with versus waiting...otherwise you end up like Rob and have a workbench that resembles a fix-a-flat joint! Nice work spud, keep the updates coming!

"Each Boogie has 13 parts.... pain in the a$$." [Spud] Nice Spud! you do pay a little in tediousness for a good deal of detail. Good start , this one will be cool

Ok once all the wheels were in place the rest was a bita cake, Not many parts on the turrets so there all done except for teh mg in teh main turret because i forgot that.. all thats left is the fends and its bits and the tracks, then it will be ready for paint and god only knows when that will be, no compressor is a pain in the ass.

Nice work Spud:) that's a cool looking early beast! Its interesting to see the evolution of German armor and how they later did away with that track/wheel/bogey system. Very cool;)
