Superb dusting. Wouldn't it be possible to achieve the same result using hairspray and a light dusting of buff?

Hey fellas, many thanks for the compliments!! @ Luigi, that's a great question, I did something like that on the Mark IV, except I used AK Interactive worn effects fluid which works like hairspray: The effect is just slightly different in appearance, perhaps more like dried mud which has come off in little flakes rather than dust. But still an interesting effect. Thanks again for looking in, cheers. JT

Thanks Chris, yep I think it is supposed to be a white or silver birch, though I may have got the shape wrong. I'm afraid I aint no ...tree expert person.. ;D Thanks Tony, yup just showin off, or posing as they say here Hi Nate, thanks mate! Thanks Rossco Cheers! Hi Wouter, yep Africa stuff get pretty dusty don't they! Hi Rob, I'm pretty happy with how the canvas and tarps came out. Thanks boss! While the enamel on the HT and gun cure for a few days I've been working on the base, here's what I used: Firestorm resin cobblestone road, and Firestorm resin footpath sections. Firestorm ceramic brick wall sections. Verlinden gates. I'm adding styrene strips and some Mr Surfacer 500 to thicken the flat PE. Here's the scene assembled and added to a polished hardwood base: I almost never do figures, but I'm going to have a go at a few for this. :-[Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained. Cheers JT

Hi fellas, sorry for the late reply. I'm very happy to prepare a SBS for the tarps I used here, no problem. Just give me a day or two and I'll sort it. Here are a few teaser shots of progress on the HT and gun. They're very close to being done so I won't post lots of pics yet, I should be able to show more in a day or two if all goes well. Since the last post, pin washes and streaks have been done with oil paint. And pigs with AK Interactive fixative. More soon, thanks again! Cheers JT
