How do gents, this forum is busy! Here's another one thrown into the mix. ;D I'm back on this project. Pretty much painted the base, but there is more to add. A couple of figures for example. The work so far: Figure painting next, please don't expect too much. I'm pretty cr@p at it! ;D Cheers JT

John I caught this over on the AK forum. She's really taken shape. The stone work and weathering is superb mate.

That's what makes a model John. Doesn't matter how much bling you build into to it, it's what you do with the painting and weathering that makes a model. It will either look like a toy,....or a very realistic representation of the real thing. And I think with this one you have done a great job.

Hi gents, thankyou for following along and for the awesome comments and encouragement! This is how the diorama finished up. These guys got lost on the way to the front... I was a bit worried about painting the figures because I have had almost no practice, but the shading with oils went okay. Thanks again for following and I hope you like it. Cheers JT

Figs look great John and fit in perfectly with the scene and base. Something tells me they are in for it if they don't find their way again quick!

Excellent finish, John! Love the figures:). And like Bill said, they do convey that sense of "oh, crap" urgency as if there about to be in for it. Nicely done.

Cool kits and will be fun to watch:). I like your deadpan abbreviations of the German "HT" and "gun" . Tolle Birkebaum! You should call it the "tree"
