got some pin washes done just the right fender and side skirt and rear left to do on the hull still have to do the turret and decals not to happy with the future going to shoot one more thin layer to see if it levels out to me it look spotty the wash i used was AK interactive brown for green what a killer wash

thanks for the comments guys i found this one on squadron for 19.99 usd they had a big sale i guess picked up the B version also they had one more the kit did have some issues but not much i have a list if you guys would like to know what they were hear is the hull so far two rounds of oil filters raw umber then some oil streaking and dot fading

Thanks wbill76 it is getting close go the end I got the drums and turret done on Thursday I'll post some pics on the am Going go mess around with the ak earth tones along with the mig oils on a card that I did the base in to see what I can come up with before I go to town on it

Looking good craig, the variation against the camo pattern is looking very nice. Only tip I can offer is to think "in layers" when you do your applications...meaning try to visualize what the cumulative effect will be in the end as you work through the different steps...and don't get discouraged if some of your earlier work tends to disappear a bit as you add the pigments and stuff, that's not necessarily a bad thing!

thanks gary i like streaking (not like frank the tank) and all the weathering wbill got you on the layers the ak mag that came will help with the rust side of things but i really want to see the dust and dirt one i have all this ak stuff and really want to turn it loose along with the oils this is the second time i have used oils martyn thanks for the comment as for a base i have a SBS that gary has used ill be using that one i have two bases that need to be done one for a M48 and on for this one i have a pic of a ZTZ some place in china in the high desert
